All of the patching has been completed and the welds smoothed out. The underside was shot with a primer from Resto Rick formulated to look like the original OEM primer. Resto Rick has a variety of paints and coatings that duplicate the original factory appearance.

The interior of the quarter panels was sprayed with undercoat also from Resto Rick. It closely matches the texture and thickness of the original undercoating. The factory sprayed it inside panels and doors mainly for sound deadening.

The trunk was also shot with the Resto Rick undercoating to resemble the original pattern. The interior undercoat will be covered by the topcoat paint.

Chris was able to score a NOS set of taillights for the R/T. These are a one year only part and only found on the Coronet 500 and R/T models. Its amazing to see how clear and bright the lenses are. It would take a lot of polishing and detailing to get an used set close to looking like this.

Chris also has the original 1970 Coronet sales brochure from Century Motors, the dealership that sold the car when it was new.
